This is a view I regularly pass on my way to the "family church" from my in law's house to the Congregational Church where my father-in-law is pastor. I painted this from memory, exploring what I could recall of the winter colors in semi-snow. The original 5×7” watercolor was created in a series of 9 watercolors which were donated by auction to raise money for the Jericho Congregational Church building campaign. The entire set sold for $1000 to a generous donor who in turn gave the series back to the church for ongoing display. 50% of the profit from each of these prints will be donated to the JCC building fund.
